Where do these docs come from?? I am absolutely outraged at the total incompetence you see here sometimes. Most importantly, where are you from? Someone can probably recommend you a good doctor that can discuss ALL of your options with you and provide you with good ongoing care and quality of life. Thank God you found us so that you're not suffering alone and without the information you need. Please let us know where you are and then RUN_ DO NOT WALK away from the doctor you've been seeing. Please also post his/her name here so we can know who to avoid. Aileen/Jude - I had a nissen wrap in 1989. I had to have 1 or 2 dilations in the years that followed but have been pretty good otherwise. We seem to split here with great success on both sides. Talk it over with your surgeon and go with what they think is best. - glad to hear about your grandbaby. I remember because I was VERY pregnant when you first started to post. My baby is about 13 months now. I live in Virginia- on the east coast of the states. Can't wait to hear about your meetup with Hannah and Ann. I think that Hannah will benefit greatly from meeting someone else with this very lonely disease. Glad to hear you're making plans.
