Guest guest
Dear , and Jo, Whoa! Read your posts and I am thinking good thoughts for you, for all the stuff going on, the pain, the bone-tired fatigue, the barium tests and doctors' visits... MAN! THIS ACHALASIA CAN BE A REAL @%* & *()+!!!!!, can't it!!! Annoying! Plus. That bone-tired comment really hits home with me. I just sent a post to this site about ten minutes ago, mostly grumbling about not being heard by my surgeon, (I know he's busy and I know he sees people with much worse conditions than mine...many lung cancer patients in his waiting room) but I guess what I really want is to be heard. The fatigue is just a real bummer, a real damnable bummer. Pep pills. Need pep pills! Send at once! (Illustration shows a blond, crawling over the Malibu sands, with a huge pile of work on a desk at the utmost dune in the distance.....blonde dressed in pajamas, popsicle stick in one hand, digging into the sand, an empty broth can in the other hand, scooping sand)... Pep pills! Skip it! Send ice cream...must have ice cream...rocky road! Send at once! This bit of ludicrous levity is brought to you by an almost three-week post-op VAT blonde, getting ready to go shower and hope that my one incision where the drainage tube was won't bleed any more. blah, blah, blah. I do hope you feel better. If you want to vent to me, great! Do it! lots of grumbles, lots of cheer, Deborah, at the beach
