I have had no dilations at all and am on the list for a myotomy. When I was discussing the options with my Consultant, he actually said to me that if he were the patient he would opt for the surgery. That advice was good enough for me and I intend to take it. I think you should consider doing the same.As for being able to sleep in any position, I think that's OK , just make sure you stick to the one bed. (Only Joking) !!!!Good luck for next Monday .
