, I spoke on the phone with Dr. Randy Haluck in Hershey, PA

(he treated Cindi W) and mentioned what you said in the chat last

night. He says to call him and he'll have a second opinion! By

the way, he is very patient and pleasant on the phone.

Oh my gosh – I don’t even know

what to say to that.

I am stunned (in a good way, of course),

but just stunned, not only at the fact that he wants me to contact him, but at

the fact that you thought of me to the point of talking to this doctor about

me. You have no idea what that means to me. Thank you so much.

I had actually come to the conclusion,

after posting last week about the odds of really making any contact over email

with any of these great docs, and after chatting with several people last

night, that I will get a note together and email the more impressive docs we

have heard about repeatedly.

I figured so far, Dr. Patti, Dr. Luketich,

Dr. Haluck, Dr. Altorki (that’s the one in NYC that did Carole’s

successful esophagectomy), probably someone at TCC (whichever one has

had such good luck with for her husband on her recent trip there), and probably

a few others. Worst case, they don’t answer or don’t really tell me

anything without an actual consult.

But I will definitely be contacting Dr.

Haluck next week since you spoke with him specifically about me and he said to

call. I am so floored right now!
