Guest guest
Lois, My husband is cold a lot of the time, too, especially when he's having spasms. I wasn't sure if it was from all his weight loss (not enough fat layers to keep him warm) or from spasms causing shivering. Or, I was worried it was that I'm just warm all the time (menopause approaching?) in comparison :-). in Michigan > > So any of you get cold? Is this a symptom of aclhalasia? Guest guest
When I have aspirated into my lungs or sinuses at night, I would feel chills the next day or so from low grade fever caused by my body fighting off the germs in these areas. > > So any of you get cold? Guest guest
Lois, if your husband is not getting enough nourishment then his body is not working to its best. When I was not able to get food and drink in I was the same. I would get sick and then I just could not shake it off. in Suffolk
Guest guest
Luckily it doesn't happen often to me, but sometimes when food gets stuck in the E and begins to ferment I get moderate to severe flue like symptoms, including being cold. Guest guest
Hi Lois, When I was in the early stages of Achalasia I was anemic and yes I was cold all the time even in the summer at times. My system was so run down. Can your husband get liquids down like " Ensure " I had to take shots to boost my immune system. I would sip Bosco mixed with milk (a chocolate syrup with vitamins) and it did help. Your husband needs nutrition that he is not getting. Talk to your Dr to see what he can be given to boost his system. I was fortunate that my dad was a Dr. and could give me this nutrition hypodermically. Being Cold > So any of you get cold?
