Guest guest
Sandy, thanks so much for keeping us up to date on Deborah. If they have put her in a room, that in itself is a good omen. Hugs, Maggie Alabama

She got there about 4. I spoke to a nurse at the nurse's station. She didn't know anything else. Probably wouldn't tell me. No one was in the room with her at the time so I couldn't get any scoop. I'm torn about going up there, but remembered that I was alone and liked it after my surgery, then I didn't have to worry about anyone else. You press a button and they answer right away via a speaker in the room, so you don't even have to wait for a nurse to come. (Maybe all hospitals are like that, not sure, but not the ones I've been in that take MediCal.) Then they send the right person/nurse/aide pretty quickly. That means you don't have to wait long for a response and you can talk directly to a person right away. Cedars is a high end private hospital and provides excellent hospitality, all rooms are private. I think they take trauma cases but probably send out the ones pretty quickly that can't pay. Many of the doctors there also work at the county hospitals so the expertise is similar, just the amenities are significantly different compared to most California metropolitan hospitals. Okay, that is today's lesson and test is at 11. > > I'll call her in the morning and let you know.
