Guest guest
a asked how often we should be checked after myotomy, and I need the answer to that question as well. My doctor doesn't have me scheduled for another endoscopic procedure for 3 years. Is that right? , I have to agree with the post saying you won't know if you have made the best choice unless you have checked all your options. From reading your posts, I think you are really unsure of the care at Cleveland Clinic, and are getting prompt, factual, reassuring responses from Dr Patti. You know all of us here will support whatever decision you and make, just don't cancel those tickets in haste. I am having a terrible time getting timely posts to my email. I have been about 2 days behind, then only getting a few of the messages. I finally gave up, and at 2:30 a.m. I am finally catching up through the group site. I almost forgot....if we are serious about T-shirts, I really do like the one that said Achalasia definately not a Pacific Island. I picture a beautiful island scene on the front with Achalasia....above it, and the rest of the phrase on the back. Hmmmmm. Church is in a little over five hours, and I still need to go to sleep. I don't think Pastor would appreciate it if I drifted off in the middle of his sermon. Good night, and happy swallowing!

It's been over 8 years for me, and no doctor has ever even asked how my 'e' is doing much less proposed doing an exam.
