I really did not want to engage in this O/T (off topic) matter, but when I saw that it was Queen Ann who started this thread, and that my name had been linked to it and keeps on popping up, it kind of forced the issue. I will also be back in an hour or so with another O/T comment.

OK, Ann, you asked for a slogan, here it is:

ACHALASIAN MEN KEEP IT UP LONGER!

For the history of this slogan, please read what follows.

For those of you who don't know: Achal Asian men are actually a lost colony of Asian men, living in a closed society where the women outnumber the men by a 10 to 1 ratio. Because most of the women are sexually active, in order for the outnumbered men to service the women, evolution created a way for them to keep it up for hours on end.

Incidentally, scientists who invented Viagra did controlled experiments on these Achal Asians in order to create a pill that would mimic the males staying power. While the self-congratulatory scientists admit that their product does help men get it up, they had to admit that Achal Asian men do keep it up longer!

Dear ,

You keep on cracking up my love. Do you know how good that it for you? Besides simply feeling good, it actually produces chemicals in your brain which help your body to heal. That has GOT to be good, Yes?

I KNOW that not everyone is amused by the banter and "naughty" and silly bits on the site, but at the same time, many are and I really believe that a good chuckle can make a big difference to your day.

And PEGGY - you are naughty, no good trying to kid me.

I hope people will appreciate that I am capable of being serious, joining in intellectual discussions (up to a point) and try my best to be supportive, but I do think that a bit of light-hearted daftness also has a place on the site. Goodness knows, we could all do with a smile !!!

I watched an amazing television programme last night about self-healing, which proved, scientifically, that the patient contributes greatly and powerfully to his own well-being. I wish everyone could have seen it. It would have put a big spring in all our steps.

Make today a day when you feel optimistic and upbeat and see if it makes a difference.

In recent post #30935, yVONNE wrote a slogan for a group T-shirt:

"ACHALASIANS LOVE TO SWALLOW."

While we might have that one already, I think back to eating in restaurants and inexplicably having to excuse myself to run to the bathroom. A more "self-assured" slogan might read:

ACHALASIANS LOVE TO SWALLOW, but sometimes we spit it up,
