ya know, I was thinking...I found this group that Horrible December, just a short year ago, now things are upright.. Perhaps I should go back and copy off all my correspondence for Cameron for when he gets older. I did dialog and write stuff while he was in the hospital, and I made him keep a journal daily before surgery... Thanks.. silly girl..I appreciate it! tell you what kind of man he is. When I was looking for the very best for Cameron (now 15) I called alot of the top men in the field. They all talked to me. But let me tell you. The research I had done, all the JAMA papers, and publish papers kept referring to ... Dr. Rice, Dr. Pellegrini and Dr. Marco Patti. When I did even more research, I found that I liked Dr. Patti's approach. So I called.... well I was talking to his assistant , and he said hold on a minute and handed the phone to Dr. Patti.... wow... wow..wow... what an honor.> He was the kindest person.. So soft spoken, knowledgeable, and not afraid to answer the question. Well, needless to say.. He was my sons surgeon.. > After visits with him, I loved this big Italian man. On the day of surgery, he showed up wearing a pink striped shirt with a light blue tie.. you would have thought him to be from the OB dept. He has a very handsome face, a big man,

happy, with smiling eyes. He is a very capable man! My son had complications with the lap surgery for his myotomy, which turned into an open... but let me tell you, he is doing wonderfully well.> Dr Patti, called, came by, and took the time to visit with us. Such a kind man.> If time is what you need? Time is what he will afford you. Oh, did I mention ?? his assistant? He is one awesome guy! He scheduled, and gave me the secrets to San Fran, and told us where to park and not to.. nuerologists, anesthesiologists, and then the residents, interns, etc,... then double that cause of him being a kid... what a packed room it was. Before surgery I asked Dr. Patti to be the only one to preform the myotomy and fundo, and he assured me he would be. I just Praise God that he was there and that my kid can be here with us because of him and his skill. I asked him if he was a Godly man and to Pray for my kid..Such a wonderful person and a gift to all. > Any more questions?? > Oh.. this time of year..... Carolyn ... I think that is an EXCELLENT idea for 2 reasons.

1. He will have a recount of exactly how things happened.

2. In the hopefully never, occurrance of this disease, you can

recount what happened to see if it is all the same.

Cameron is fortunate to have you for a Mom. You and are such

wonderful advocates that I find it inspiring.
