I welcome any feedback on how you all are doing with this lousy problem, achalasia. I have waited about 1 1/2 years to finally get this resolved and I am ready!!! You will find an amazing amount of support and information through the members here! Is Dr. Rice doing your surgery tomorrow? Where are you located? We are in the Detroit area and coincedentally, my husband just talked to Dr. Rice this afternoon. My husband has Diffuse Esophageal Spasm (similar to A, but his LES relaxes properly) and we are trying to see if surgery could possibly help him. I think you'll be in good hands at Cleveland Clinic tomorrow!
