Guest guest
Wow, your son sounds a little like my daughter, Jaynie! She is 21 months and we are still working on walking. Some days she will walk a few steps several times in a row, other days (like today) she won't take any steps. She looks like she has poor tone in her face as well. Her face kinda of " sags " and she eats poorly. She drinks more than she eats. Other times she will (though this is rare) wolf the food down. Textures and temperature are not a problem here either. Vomiting is not a problem. Her fine motor skills are fine as well. We go see a neurologist next Friday for the first time. I have had 2 PT's say she has low tone. What has your son been diagnosed with? Our children sound familiar Also, if anyone can tell me exactly what are the symptoms of apraxia? Thanks! & Jaynie (delayed but as of yet undiagnosed 21 months) >My son, Pierce (2 yrs. 3 mos.), was classified as hypotonic at 4 >months. (He walked at 23 months.)
