First of all she understands what shes doing. You have to re-direct her. Or after she screams say are you mad at me or daddy tell me you are mad or upset. Kinda show her how to talk through her emotions. Or give her a pillow or stuffed animal to hit when she hits you say no hit them show her how to squeeze or hug her animal. It all depends on how much speech your daughter has and how much she understands, but to think she does not know could be a mistake your husband is right it will only get worse as she gets older

She could be going into puberity. My JJ was up and down starting at age 12.

He just turned 17 and is doing a little better now. It could be sensory or a

cobo of both puberity/sensory. Lois (J's mom)

  • 1 year later...

Hi everyone,

I'm new here and I was diagnosed with achalasia a little over 3 years

ago, i went through a terrible pregnancy, right after my son was born I

had a botox shot which helped for about 4 months then I had the heller

myotomy (last april) and I thought I was cured.. but I'm starting to

get food stuck and today I threw up for the first time, it was very

hard and painful, and I could see some blood in there.

I'm very scared, Please! has this happened to any of you too?

Thanks in advance

Hilda

Hello Hilda,Welcome to the Group. Don't panic darlin'. I think that what you are describing has happened to quite a few people. From what I have read, some people need a dilation a few months after surgery. You would think that having the surgery would be a permanent answer wouldn't you? But it doesn't seem to be like that.As for the blood, join the club! As long as it doesn't happen regularly the Doctors don't seem to be too concerned about it. I had some a couple of weeks ago and did exactly the same as you, panicked, straight onto email to talk to my friend . A couple of hours later I was feeling a lot calmer when I could be a bit more logical. Our oesophaguses (oesophagi ? - Oh blimey!) become quite vulnerable, misshapen, sore - you name it, they are it, and sometimes they complain.I assume you will be seeing you Doc quite soon so that he can arrange a check-up for you. Meanwhile try not to worry too much. Just have a chat to us lot if it is getting you down. There is a lot of caring in this Group.Lots of love from Ann in England (Where are you Hilda?) Not something all of us do, but it has been a topic here at times.

It may be worth calling your doctor, because you never know, but it is

generally not a big deal. However, if you don't feel right or have

tarry stools you should call sooner than later.

One of the problems with achalasia is that symptoms and problems that

it causes can be caused by other diseases also. It can be good to check

some of these out to make sure we don't have another problem also

causing those symptoms. I was recently checked by a cardiologist to

make sure none of my pains were heart related, even though they seemed

consistent with pains achalasia could cause. All turned out fine.

lol... Just think of what he would say if you drank coffee in front of him. I think you could do some more ice skating. That way you could have a nice cup of warm tea when your done....lol

Have you visited England? Where did you go? Try not to let things get you down. It seems to be one of those disorders that will always have it's ups and downs, and whichever you are going through at the time, certainly affects your mood, because eating is such a fundamental part of life, not like not being able to roller-skate (I can't do that either)Just make the decision to get things sorted out as soon as you are able and take things from there. It's best if we don't rest on our laurels with this because we can never take things for granted. But there is almost always a way of dealing with the problems. Keep posting Hilda, and have a good moan if you like.Sending you a big Hug,With love from Ann > >> > Hi everyone, > > I'm new here and I was diagnosed with achalasia a little over 3 years > > ago, i went through a terrible pregnancy, right after my son was born I > > had a botox shot which helped for about 4 months then I had the heller > > myotomy (last april) and I thought I was cured.. but I'm starting to > > get food stuck and today I threw up for the first time, it was very > > hard and painful, and I could see some blood in there.> > I'm very scared, Please! has this happened to any of you too?> > Thanks in advance> > Hilda> >> > > >
