What is the > state of your achalasia? ============================================================ Hi Steve, Actually it has been 46 years since I first began having problems until my esophagectomy in 1993. I still have the residual effects of Achalasia with GERD and with a smaller capacity than pre esophagectomy I cannot eat what most would consider a regular size meal, but smaller ones and more often. So with the residual effects and at age 72 I have had achalasia for 58 years. But absolutely no SPASM. My story is message number 1386 if you would like to read more about me.
