Guest guest
What a blessing it is when everyone is standing around you waiting to see if you "feel" the water go all the way to the stomach, Cameron too had to take a few to see if it was really true. The room was so crowded with the surgeons, interns, residents, nurses and family.. What a moment... Stay on your diet... be creative!! That first drink is amazing. I had to try it again to see if I really trust it. To just drink and have it disappear down the E is a great feeling. I am now eating pureed food for 4 weeks as you know. It really doesn't matter if it is pureed as long as it keeps going down.I have 5 incisions on my stomach. They are a little tender and same with my throat and jaw. I can deal with that, it will go away with time.My husband says I have colour again and don't look so drawn out now.Thankyou for all your kind thoughts and support, especially Peggy, Anne, Kathy in Pittsburg, Anita and Sandy in So Cal for your ideas hugs and thoughs. The time leading up to surgery is really frustrating and scary and I would not have coped with all this without it.Many thanks and best wishes to the group, in the Desert
