Thanks for the advice. Yes, it can take that long. I could

maybe get in sooner with someone else but I really want this doctor

so I chose to wait. I am not desparate. She is a thoracic surgeon so

does a lot of cancer surgeries and those take priority. I had botox

last december (I know, I know, cut my wrists now, it worked for me

ok) so I had some borrowed time. Things are getting rapidly worse

now but it is still not as bad as it has been and I can cope.

I also know I could phone and beg for answers now but I am not going

to. I am curious and really want to know what has changed but I am

very happy about another visit prior to surgery since I thought of

lots of things I want to ask about since my last visit so I am making

a big list to ask when I see her. I was venting my anxiety

immediately following the call to this group where is seems safe to

do so but I have calmed down and can wait. She is very kind and

quite compassionate so I know she is not being deliberately cruel to

make me wait and frankly I am thrilled she has taken the time to

actually review my file again after we made the decisions as to what

to do.
