Guest guest
Hi , I am sorry to hear that you are having so much trouble as well. From reading many posts and consulting with my doctor, it is better not to wait for things to get worse. It already sounds like you are suffering enough. Throughout the summer I waited and now I am at a point where I can barely eat. I am not trying to frighten you, but I encourage you to not wait. As I mentioned, I am going in for surgery on Tuesday Sept 20th. You mentioned that surgery frightens you. . . it frightens me too! But it is really such a blessing that we have this option. And so many members have had amazing success, and I am sure we can too! You mentioned that you have two daughters. I know how hard it is not to have the energy or feel well enough to do all the things that you would like to do as a mom. I am going through it now with my 6 year old daughter. She is having a really hard time with me being sick and is worried about the surgery. My husband and I have been doing as much as we can to make this easier on her. She wants so much for me to go swimming with her, or ride bikes, but I have no energy. So last night, we had a girls night and watched movies and ate junk food (well, she did!), we put makeup on each other, painted nails, and then she slept in my bed (my husband slept in the guest room:) It was so great to be able to do something fun with her that didn't require much energy. I would highly recommend it! Even though you are on the " other side of the world " you are not alone... we are all just an email away! We are all connected through this group and it doesn't matter how close or far you are. . . we are all in this " A " journey together. Wishing you happy swallowing today, Diane > > Hello Dianne. > > I am new to the group too. Like yourself I have been diagnosed in > August as well.
