Guest guest Posted August 4, 2005 Report Share Posted August 4, 2005 Let me start off by saying, I'm so thankful to have found this forum. Although I dont post often, I read almost every post. I myself have been suffering from A for a year and a half now. I did a dilation, which didnt help much. The next step is the surgery. I met with my surgeon this week. Are any of you familar with Dr. Urbach @ Toronto General Hospital? He seems really nice. He has done a lot of these lap heller surgeries. He mentioned recently he's been doin 3 a week. I'm just trying to figure out my schedule..especially since its really hard for me to have to find 3 weeks out of my schedule for recovery with school/work.In the meantime, I just wanted to research everything completely. He mentioned to me that this will be a chronic thing. Especially since I'm only 19, its bound to come back eventually. He seemed like a realist but was very reassuring. Happy Swallowing!
