I dont have any pain when I eat (I am very gratefull for that) but the sticking does make me eat a whole lot less these days. If I do continue to eat......I almost choke !!!! This is not normal and I would really like a solution for this. I have never had this sticking feeling either.......it started a while after my surgery. It is really making enjoying life difficult. You will have to have surgery again to cure the hernia ??? If that does fix the sticky feeling, I might have to inform my doc about that too. I have had that sticking feeling even after my Heller's was done and several dilation's too. I am now waiting for surgery again. The doctor I am seeing said after he scoped me and did the barium swallow that I have a sever hiatus hernia cause by the proir surgery. I do not know if this will fix the sticking feeling but I hope the pain goes away when I eat. I think cause the E is so stretched out that food will always hang up in there. I could be wrong but that is what I think. Try not to get so down over this. IF you have some improvement that is a plus.
