Achalasia and back pain (and question re teenage weight)

My son (Stefan, age 15), is used to daily chest pain even after his

Heller (summer 2004). Lately though, he is having a lot of upper

back pain, and I wonder if it could be anything to do with his A,

especially as I read a recent message from Charmaine who has had

back spasms-do they last for ages, or just pass after half an hour

or so? Stefan's pain seems to affect his neck as well. My other

question is that Stef has lost a little weight and is now 121 pounds

and about 5'8 " .Does that seem about average-or should I try to get

more smoothies,supplements into him? I sometimes think eating is a

big chore nowadays for him.
