Hi Jan,

I was just wondering the same about you !

How are you - what is it like back at work? Are you managing to eat better?

Hugs,

Joan

Joan,

I am back at work and managing, that's about it. My swallowing is good now, but the heartburn from acid reflux is very very bad. My doctor said he may want to run some tests, but for now, wanted me to make sure I am taking my Reglan 4x a day, Prevacid, 2x a day, and some powder to mix into water called cholestryamine 3x daily. It is helping a little bit, but the acid reflux really takes the joy away from eating.

Sorry my news isnt better.

Jan from Northern KY

Hi Jan, Doing Great!! Looking forward to returning to TCC on the 16th for my 2-month post-Heller follow-up tests. Today I ate my first salad (a cobb) with absolutely no problems! But, on the other hand, my roof is leaking and the estimates came in at about $17-21,000 (ouch!), so I re-started up my sewing business to try to make some money. So, I have been really busy. Then, this week we had two huge 50 year old Sugar Maple trees fall during a wind storm...one totally destroying the trampoline my kids worked for and paid for with their own money this past summer! Not good - nobody happy. Still not happy with the dimpling from the scars...but I guess I can't complain. How are you doing?Joy

Joy,

Sounds like you personally are doing great, but I'm so sorry to hear about your roof needing repair!

I am not doing so great right now, getting acid reflux regularly, even though now I can swallow better, it's not much fun when you have burning after you eat.
