Guest guest
Not to beat a dead horse about spasms - has anyone every got a mild pain on their right side almost under the right arm pit and lower chest. It may occur once a month, but the alleged spasms are so infrequent that I don't document their occurrence. I drink fluid and take one previcid and after about 20 minutes or less it goes away. I am going to buy some magnesium and take it . Regarding dry mouth I do get that sometimes. Again do not document the frequencies. Maybe I should keep a diary! Guest guest
I have different kinds of spasms. Sometimes I get the intense ones, the ones that mostly happen during the night. Those happen when I ate less than 2 hours before I went to bed or when I had a large meal. Then I try to eat or drink something (hot or cold). Most of the time they go away after a few minutes, but sometimes they last for a long times, 30 minutes up to 3 hours, and that's just horrible. When it lasts longer than 1 hour, I start to do things to get my mind of the pain, e.g. running around, watching tv, singing ... anything. And then finally when it stops I'm exhausted and have to take a nap for a few hours before I feel better again. The other spasms I have don't hurt so much, but they last for at least 2 hours. Last week I had it from 10 am until 5 pm. The pain is present in the background, it's annoying, but nothins helps it go away. Maybe I'll try these magnesium pills too. Hope that helps. I don't know how much time an average A-patients spends having pain during his of her lifetime. Probably too much if you ask me! >From: " biljana302000 " <biljana302000@...> >Reply-achalasia >achalasia >Subject: Re: My description of spasms >Date: Mon, 29 Nov 2004 11:25:55 -0000 > > >I get spasms most mornings between 5-6.00 o'clock.
