Guest guest
'Haven't done that yet. If I did, my dog's balls would fall off the bed even more often and she wakes me up to get them from under the bed.LOL' Oh Sandy - that gave me the best laugh I have had for ages ! A couple of bricks under the legs of the head of your bed also helps but is not high enough for me. I have a fancy bed [Tepur] but when I raise it high enough my back hurts. I find it hard to sleep on my back and that does make life difficult. Joan Finally! Guest guest
in Houston, I know you know what I mean about the golden retriever on the bed and their toys. Did I mention the occasional squeaky during the night when she rolls over that? Glad you got a chuckle Joan. Oh about the pneumonia symptom.... I can tell if I do a really deep exhale and I can feel or hear a rattle at the end. Really empty out your lungs. I get it once or twice a year since achalasia, and have always gotten pheumonia easily. This year I took the pneumonia shot, we'll see how that goes. I can feel that rattle if I really push out, using my diaphragm. Guess I take a deep breath then REALLY push out with every abdominal muscle you have. If it rattles go to a doctor. That starts before the cough for me. Often they don't hear it at that stage w/ a stethscope unless you breath out really hard for them too. I've never had it go away until I get antibiotics once there is a rattle. > > Hi Kim, Glad for you that you have date at last ! Guest guest
Ah, I have a Target pretty close to me. I think I'll just head over and see what I can see. Thanks! Guest guest
Joan, I had the same reaction. Would have been even funnier if the dog had been male. *laugh* As for the bricks, I'm trying to come up with a solution that won't affect my husband. He's amazingly supportive, so if we end up needing to do something to the whole bed, I know he'd be okay with it, but I'd rather not try that if I can avoid it. Guest guest
Good. No rattle for me, but I'm just worn down, not hungry, always tired (although my horrible sleep is probably what's causing all of this, not just the exhaustion)... I'm hoping I don't develop pneumonia, but I've been having lots of choking episodes, so I'm paying attention. Kim in KS > > > Hi Kim, Glad for you that you have date at last !
