I'm guessing that coughing is a replacement for the little "breathing toy"??

I haven't had the Heller (yet) but did get the "toy" after my c-section.....

Hi Joy - I was given coughing exercises, but I had open surgery and the physiotherapist would stand over me, but I was so out of it I just pretended and in the end they left me in peace. I was Ok anyway!

Thanks Joan,

I was just wondering what I missed because when I spoke with Dr.

Rice on the phone he said... " keep up with the caughing exercises, "

and then he really had to get back to the operating room I had hung

up before I realized I didn't know anything about caughing

exercises....so now I wonder if someone was supposed to tell me

something and I missed it. Oh well, caugh, caugh, (forced & fake)

life goes on.
