Hello Joy

In reference to your comment:

When did you say you got symptoms?Of course, I moved many places since then and have lived all over....but I have been sick since living down ther. Hmmm?

Oh I rather doubt living on the coast had anything to do with

our A, but who knows. I left there in 1963 and didn't get the

symptoms of A until 35 years later. But, listen to this.....I

noticed the first symptoms while visiting my sister-in-law

and nephew in Coeur d Alene, Idaho, which is just a few miles

from Spokane, WA. LOL

Maybe someday they will find the cause. Until then we will

keep looking and wondering.

Hugs,

Maggie

Hello vip@...,

In reference to your comment:

Maggie, did your sister-in-law's house have well water by any chance??

Martha, I really don't know, but I can find out. I did drink

well water as a child.

Maggie,

My Dad still misses the shrimp po'boys he used to get there. I

went 2 years to the University of Southern Mississippi. I used to be

a lifeguard at the Wavepool at the State Park. Then, when my parents

retired, they never wanted to be THAT hot again and built a log house

on a lake in Northern Michigan (UP). They were 2 miles by snowmobile

to their mailbox in the winter. Then my dad clogged one of his

arteries and so they moved to a place down here near Detroit (in

the " real world " ). Their fantasy retirement is over....but as with

dealing with all losses (including living with A), life does go on

and you find joys in other things.

When most kids grow-up and buy cars....I put my savings into a Hobie

Cat catamaran sailboat....and I kept it on the beach in Long Beach.

I have fond memories of sailing every afternoon after school.

We love a little place in Alabama that serves up barbecue pulled pork

sandwhiches on our drive to Southern Florida every spring. I sure

hope those people down there can pull their lives back together -

alot of them have one heck of a struggle ahead of them.

Anyway, I think you have a fine state there - Alabama. I always

think it is so pretty.

Hmm....it does seem quite strange that we both have A after living

within 5 miles of each other!!!! When did you say you got symptoms?

Of course, I moved many places since then and have lived all

over....but I have been sick since living down ther. Hmmm?
