Guest guest
Welcome home Bianka! I was just thinking about you and thinking you should be home by now, and I opened up my inbox and there you were! :-) I can really relate to the breathing difficulties. I think it’s from being anesthetized for so long. My surgery was 6 hours long due to a perforation that needed to be repaired and I was in ICU because my oxygen saturation was so low. Did they give you one of those inspiration volume machines to exercise with? It was really helpful to me, but it took me several months before my breathing got back up to normal. I remember it was about 7 weeks after my surgery that I went to a local festival with my family. It was 104 degrees outside and I just couldn’t tolerate the heat. I guess it was just too soon after surgery. The heat made me feel so weak and I felt like I was going to pass out, so we ended up not staying long…. I needed that comfy spot on the couch too! Make sure you get your rest, but do try to get up and go for short walks if you can! It’s good to have you back! Hugs! Sandi It's me !! Hello everyone, Just a quick email from me, myself and I: Biancka. I am home and doing so so. Eating is still very scary but I do enjoy my food. It's esp. afterwards I am very aware of my body. I have the feeling of food in my throat which I dont like but I try to ignore it. I am also very out of breath. This started when the weather over here became very hot and I still have it. I hope it is not A related............but today is a cooler day and I am just a little less out of breath. Maybe it has to do with my condition. Still very very very weak (typing this email is taking me forever) but I hope to send a better update next week :-). Now............THANK YOU ALL for the amazing support. The cards I received in the hospital, really wonderful. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for everything. I havent read all the emails yet but in time, I will for sure. I have to go now, getting tired and the comfy sofa is calling my name. Hugs, Biancka

Guest guest
Biancka!!! Welcome back! It's SOOO good to hear from you again! We all worried so much about you and it was so comforting to have the updates from Edwin. Take it very easy and get your strength back slowly. Time heals all things! We will continue to pray for your strength and healing and hope that the food continues to go down in little delicious portions. Bless You, Jan in Northern KY
