Guest guest
I am so excited for you, Biancka!!!! I thought my doctor was being a little radical putting me on soft foods on Day 3 (nothing day 1, clear liquids on Day 2)! LOL! But I will tell you at least this much....you will only want very, very small portions (like 1 Tbsp) every 30-60 minutes. And you will want to chew a LOT. Please, please keep us posted!!! Guest guest
Hey Biancka (I love that name...so pretty!), Six days to go! WOW, I am so happy for you. After ALL the waiting, you're almost there! I hope you have a....ummmm....splendiferous weekend! Imagine that....KABABS! WOW! Take your mind off all the crap and just enjoy Jasper and Edwin! HAVE FUN! (and that's an order!) Talk to you when you return (and I'm warning you your face better hurt from all the smiling!) Hugs back at ya!, Mike (still in touch with my feminine side, well....not too in touch!) > You must all be like....... " did Biancka have her surgery already ?!?!?! " after reading my subject !! NO, I didnt have my surgery. I did ask my surgeon when I will be able to eat a normal diet again. His answer: I will start my normal diet again the 3rd day after surgery !!!! Isnt that a bit soon ?? I hear a lot of people talking about mashed/soft food but my surgeon wants me to eat normal again on the saturday after surgery. I am not complaining but I just wondered if this was 'normal'. > > > I did read a story of a 15 year old Dutch girl who had her myotomy last week and she was already eating kebabs 6 days after her surgery ! Wow, amazing. > > Well, only 6 days to go till my surgery. Getting very very very nervous now. We are going away this weekend. Try to do some nice things and not think about the surgery. > > Oh, I will have to go into hospital the night before my surgery. They changed the time of my surgery, I will be the first that day to have surgery. 8 in the morning. The surgery will take 2 hours so I will probably be back in my room around 1 in the afternoon. > > Have to pack a suitcase now. Talk to you later !! > > Hugs, > > Biancka
