Guest guest Posted May 21, 2004 Report Share Posted May 21, 2004 - another possibility is that when you are lying down, acid is leaching up through a spastic LES and pooling in your E with saliva & causing heartburn-like pain. My myotomy seems to have stopped that from happening for me.
