Guest guest Posted March 18, 2008 Report Share Posted March 18, 2008 I was dx June 06 with AIH. Felt great just went in for blood work for some elective surgery. Once I had my first biopsy, I was put on 60mg prednisone and 125 Imuran. On Valentines Day 08, I was taken off prednisone (after months of tapering off) and am on 100 mg. of Imuran. I go every 3 weeks for blood work and just had my second biopsy. My first biopsy was a trans jugular and the second one was not. Both were okay- not difficult at all. My question is for those that are in Florida (I am in the Orlando area), I have been trying to find a doctor at Mayo in ville whose specialty is AIH. If anyone has a name I would appreciate the info. Also, those who are interested perhaps we can meet somewhere to chat. This group has been so informative. I have read all your emails and have been able to take a lot from this group to ask when I see my doctor(s).
