Happy New Year, and signing off for a week

Hi all, and welcome all new Achalasians!

My husband and I are leaving tomorrow morning for a New Years/30th

Anniversary trip to Carmel California. So, I'll be out of touch, but VERY

HAPPY!!!

My wishes for the new year...

That genetic research might find some way to help Achalasia, and that it will

work, for EVERYONE who still needs help.

That some other miracle will find it's way into the lives of those who still

need help managing their symptoms.

That you all have a peaceful, safe and happy New Year.

I'm really excited that I will get to meet Tanja for lunch while we are in

California! I've never met another achalasian face to face, and I know it will

be fun to meet her. I'm still half serious/half joking about a cruise for all

of us. I get a good chuckle out of it...all of the special accomodations they

would need to make for all of our idiosyncratic wants and needs. But how much

fun we would all have. Connecting faces to names would be a blast.

So, to all of you, bubbly if you can, water if you can't, and raise a spiritual

glass of hope to the new year...May science bless us, our leaders of our various

countries all get a grip, may mean people turn to loving people, and may life

smile on all of us. Love you all, you're my brothers and sisters in " A " !
