Guest guest
My GI Doctor started me on Prilosec. He feels I am starting to form a duodenal ulcer from the dumping syndrome. The Prilosec should help relieve my recent discomfort but the dumping syndrome will continue. I see the stories about the myotomies and I only wish that I had sought treatment before my achalasia got so bad that a myotomy would be useless. The recovery of only about 1 month sure beats the 10 month recovery after an esophagectomy. Being able to eat regular food a few days eariler sounds nice compared to being fed by a j-tube for 6 months. It all seems like a better option
