Guest guest
Hi Everyone! I just got good news from the legal department of Inside Edition TV. They have decided that it will be OK to sell the video on the apraxia segment, even to states where the show has not aired yet. For those who missed this, for licensing reasons, Inside Edition can only sell segments once the show airs, and only to the states that the show airs in. I sent a letter explaining the situation many of us are in who have children with apraxia to the Inside Edition legal department about a month ago, and they just decided in our favor! You can purchase the segment, even if it has not aired in your state yet. The show is supposed to air in December, but we still do not have an air date. We also have unofficial reports that the Inside Edition segment on apraxia aired in the NY area at 2:30 AM the other day. Please know that even if it did, we have no advance notice of " stand by " shows, only nationwide scheduled ones. For those that are interested, here is how to purchase the apraxia segment from Inside Edition-everything needs to go through them. You can call either 212-817-5656, or 1-800-EDITION The contact person I have is Donna Fields You want the segment on " verbal apraxia " in children The segment producer is Stefanie Linzer You can also visit http://www.insideedition.com Once there, go to " footage store " You would then choose between licensing, or home viewing tapes. (Most people need home viewing) The price for the 5 and a half min. segment is $32.45 which includes shipping/handling/tax. This is Inside Edition's price for all their segments. (This is NOT a fund raiser.) Inside Edition will accept only Visa or MasterCard. If you want to send a money order, you will have to mail that to them, their address is at their website as well. Normally this price would get you the entire show, but again, since the show did not air nationwide yet, you would only get our 5 and a half minute segment on apraxia. I don't know if you want to wait, or order it now, so I'll leave that decision up to you. At least we now know we have that option! Hope that helps,
