Cheney told me that I was in phase 2 of CFIDS and ampligen would be worth

trying if insurance covered it (it wouldn't be cost-effective, otherwise).

I understood him to say that although the LMW RNase-L enzyme was *most*

active in stage 1, and starts to *dissipate* in stage 2, there is still some

RNase-L activity going on in stage 2 and that is why ampligen could still be

beneficial at that point in the disease.
