( interesting change from the usual feeling of ice water for blood in my viens type feeling) but my cranial sacral osteopath said system too overstimulated which i had suspected also and had begun reducing stuff. . ( toeghter all had increased hormones, metabolism.... lol.... finally found high octane gas for my half dead mitochondria (energy factory of bodY) from the immunocal(one packet) and nadh(two tablets in am: md told me to try) i had started ( plus had increased atp/gth) and am cutting back on immuocal to one half packet, reducing atp 2.2 cc and gth ( 1.6cc), and nadh to one in am.( usually very reactive to stuff and one nadh did nothing for three days ( usual response time for me) but all above toether all push energy systems/ metabolism in differnt ways....) hope you all are managing well. take care ,ellice ps . i usually do only one thing at a time but think so fed up with being so sick for so long and having most of the stuff i try not work or usually get sick from...overdid my usual one thing and wait a week or so and slowly add another thing pss .thanx to tracy and all for the support and encouragement... very appreciated

Guest guest
DR. C Basically.....GTH,glutathione, is a major antioxidant of the cell that helps the Immune system and also detox/antioxidant in the body. It is a tripeptide....3 certain amino acids needed for the body to make it.. These amino acids are hard to get in high enough amounts in our food. Highest levels of GTH are needed in the liver. When there is alot of infection or stress of any kind ,some people get depleted of GTH and there is a domino effect of health problems..... " trash " from even normal cell metabolism, oxidation etc can build up if you don't have enough GTH. (PWC are known to have abnormal metabolism often and often produce even more " trash " than a normal person anyway. ) Alot of health problems can stem from this problem....chemical sensitivities, allergies, weak immune system, pain etc etc....I think if the body can't fight back, that may also cause cancer. (My opinion) My mother was sick with this too,and she died of Cancer last year at age 59....like her father. I use Immunocal to raise my GTH levels and I have had great results. It is also high in other things that benefit me....I have heard others say the same thing. Other ways of raising the GTH levels have not worked as well for me,so I stay on the immunocal. After 35 years of illness, this is helping slowly. Since my mother was also sick,I think it is genetics somewhere along the line causing my troubles. I read some people can be depleted of GTH ( and other things too) due to genetic predisposition. Dr Cheney's web site talks alot about GTH and so does the web site for Immunocal. Hope I was helpful. Other ways of raising the GTH levels have not worked as well for - I am trying ALpha Lipoic acid and l-Glutamine to raise GTH too. Can you tell me how you know that Immunocal has given you great results? Is it by symptoms improving (in which case I guess it could be through some other mechanism other than GTH), or have you had your intracellular or blood GTH measured? Guest guest
I knew it was helping due to my symptoms improving...less severe relapses, less frequent relapses, fewer thrush troubles and then no thrush troubles now, more energy,etc...etc......recovering easier....need less sleep, sleeping better more often.... Alpha lipoic acid....isn't that what helps your body make the ATP.. that helps the cells absorb/use the GTH it makes? ...something like that. It helps me too. I have to take so much of it. It is expensive. Do you have to take alot of it too?? I take a protein drink that has alot of amino acids...including L-glutamine....I seem to be recovering from fatigue and stress better now too....high B-complex 150 mg each meal and extra B12 5000mcg sublingual, extra B6 200mg,panthothenic acid .....helps your body with cortisol recovery or something like that.....Calcium/Magnesium etc.... I think alot of things I am doing is helping, not just one thing.. The Immunocal is one of the most important things I take though....my opinion. BYE!
