Or wrapping, or baking...or or or!!!! Well, I am done. Cept this morning I was in the shower and dh says, " Hon, I have some errands to run; can I pick something up? " It suddenly occurs to me that my 8 yo asked for a camera and I never got it!! All her presents are wrapped and ready, and it just popped in my head! YIKES!!!! And I'm a HUGE list maker, but if you forget to put it on the list................. I am so excited for x-mas this year, since Maddie has made such wonderful progress. She is going to be so cute this year with her presents; I can't wait!!! AND she is being an angel when it comes to decorations in the house and on the tree. We can't figure out why, but she just goes in the living room, sits on the chair and giggles and stares at the tree, BUT DOESN'T TOUCH IT!!!!! YEAH!!!! However, she DID dump THREE super sized bags of chips, cheese curls, and Doritoes on the kitchen floor last night before I got to her!!! Still devilish, but I'd rather have that than broken tree ornaments!!! LOL Turkeys are defrosting, cookies are almost done, presents are wrapped. Just last minute stuff to do (stuffing, apple pie, and oh yea.....being Santa tomorrow night). I just LOVE Christmas!!!!!!! I hope everyone has a joyous and SAFE holiday!!!!! Guest guest
Hello Everyone, I want to wish everyone a wonderful Christmas and Happy holiday season. We had a Christmas Eve birthday party here last night for Miles who turned 16 yesterday and will go to my parents tonight for Christmas dinner. We gave poor Brookie a haircut today, which he did not appreciate, but really really needed. He has now had a shower and is enjoying a long bath with his favorite sprinkle cup, so I think he will have forgotten all about it when he gets out of the tub. Happy Holidays to everyone and wishes for peace. Marisa

Guest guest
WTG !!!! you're doing great. congrats on your new job <GBG> I'm glad the girls are better - did you manage to get through it all without getting sick yourself? Fall seven times, stand up eight.- Japanese proverb Happy Holidays Happy Holidays Ladies! I just thought I would check in and wish everyone a happy holiday season. I am doing pretty well. I lost 7 pounds and I hope to end the year under 210. Maybe...five pounds to go. I also have a new job. I closed my daycare and I am working for a large company processing unemployment claims. The pay is excellent and the work is very interesting. The girls are doing fine. They had that flu that is going around and were in bed for almost two weeks with it. My oldest daughter slept for three days-she got up to use the rest room and take her meds-then crashed again. They are now almost totally recovered-just in time for the holidays. Keep up the good work and I will be in touch soon. 222/215/120ish 2001 www.hushport.com____________________________________________________ IncrediMail - Email has finally evolved - Click Here To unsubscribe DO NOT send a message to the list. Please click on this link and unsubscribe:100-plus/join

It sounds like just about everyone one on the list has been hit with illness in their family. I know I'm still not 100% yet, hubby keeps telling me to call the Dr's office, but I will wait another day or 2 and see what happens. > > I lost 7 pounds and I hope to end the year under 210. I probablly won't be back on the job market for another 3 years, but would love to be able to do it sooner! I've been trying to figure out ways to bring in a little money, but have not been able to come up with much. OH well.... > The girls are doing fine. They had that flu that is going around and were in bed for almost two weeks with it. The poor things! I felt sorry for Henry, having to take 3 final exams like this, but at least he passed each with a pretty good score. >My oldest daughter slept for three days-she got up to use the rest room and take her meds-then crashed again. Henry is still doing that when he can. Yesterday after the doctor he went back to bad & didn't wake up for about 6 hours. Today he's a bit more alert & active and came shopping with me in the morning, but has been hanging around in bed since we came home. It'll be 2 weeks today since his first signs of it. >Keep up the good work and I will be in touch soon. We'll look forward to it. So, did you? Henry's asthma doc yesterday said almost everyone he's seen with this needs really strong antibiotics that are specifically for sinus infections. A broad-spectrum antibiotic like he first had, the Zithromax, was fine for the throat infection, but sinus infections need the big guns to get rid of them. I would say call the doc - the ampicillin you had a few weeks ago just wasn't enough to wipe it out and you need something a lot stronger by now to get rid of it for good. Sydney Temporal Arteritis/FYI Hey Folks, I don't post every ache and pain I get, but after thinking about this situation I found myself in; thought I might pass on this info. Right after Thanksgiving I ended up in the ER with terrible pain in my left temple, in my left ear and down my jaw. Could not open my jaw even to eat and the pain was excruciating. I thought that I might have a BAD sinus infection, or that I had run afoul of a caramel that I had chewed on, or tried to chew on. Nothing helped the headache which was a dull hurt all the time that went into spasms that just about laid me flat. The ER doc said it could be three things: sinus, toothache, or temporal arteritus. (If you Google temporal arteritus you will get some good websites explaining the condition) But it mostly hits folks over 50 years of age and primarily women. Is treated with steroids and pain meds, and needs to be diagnosed and treated immediately because it can cause spontaneous and permanent blindness. It is a vascular disease, part and parcel of the whole heart mess we deal with, so my experiencing this thing was not as far out as I originally thought. I think I am about out of the woods with this thing, but still taking the steroids. Not sitting in the doctor's office weeping like last Tuesday with the pain. So if any of you start with these kinds of symptoms, don't ignore it. Becca in Florida Need a quick answer? Get one in minutes from people who know. Ask your question on Answers.
