more than likely the scars, besides the initial cut, is from the cut being

to tight and the skin having to stretch at certain times!

I have a copy of a paper written by a doctor that believes that circumcision

affects the brain of the baby and changes who he is. Makes sense to me now,

to bad I didn't know or consider this when I was being pressured to do the

'right' thing. Makes me so angry now.

Just recently on the restore list a few of us have talked about how closely

vaccinations and circumcision parallel though now it's not nearly so hard to

say that you don't want your son cut.

Still just as hard though to convince people that the doctors aren't always

'right'.

yes, I'm passionate about this now-

tell them the first commercial after the first segment was

for the new vaccine Prevnar....guess who paid for that show!

I am sorry, but I do beleive that it was for the varicella vaccine. The one

put out by Merck, the one with the " crying " toys.....ugh!

Ds was cut so darn tight that even at 7 years old he has painful erections

I am sorry to hear that! I left both of my son's whole, it just didn't seem

right to take away a part of their bodies for " cosmetic " purposes. We

decided that we would let them decide that for themselves and if they decide

to have it done, which I HIGHLY doubt that they will, then I will even pay

for it for them. My husband has scars on his penis from his circumcision.

Maybe I am over concerned but 3 hospitilizations in 8 weeks seems like too

much. Dr. Shapiro has not suggested we try anything new. She is on amoxicillin

PID she has and right now it does not seem like it is under control.

Hi ,

3 hospitalizations in 8 weeks does seem like a lot to me! Sometimes the

doctors can get so overwhelmed that they don't see the big picture. We have

found

that keeping a detailed log of antibiotic use (type, dose, how long taken,

results) and history of illnesses (be specific-- pneumonia, sinusitis, strep

throat, sepsis with dates) over the long term can be helpful when talking to the

doctors. If a case is made for gammaglobulin based on disease profile instead

of IgG numbers, the doctors can use this detailed information to support their

decision.
