I have the MOST exciting news that I just found out today!!

kmarino@... I hope this news answers your question too.

Please know that you can search for (much) more information on ProEFA

vs. DHA Jr./Omega 3 / 6 questions in general at

under " archive

search "

I went to Tanner's school, which is for hearing impaired or deaf, as

well as apraxic children. There are typically not autistic children

in this school, but there is a little boy in the school who had a

hearing loss and autism with severe speech delays and some behavioral

issues.

I was speaking with the mom of this little boy about 3 weeks ago and

telling her about the success of ProEFA, which is Omega 3 with Omega

6 (Borage Oil) with so many apraxic children going in one to three

weeks from nonverbal to verbal with supplementation, and of course

told her about Tanner. I told her that many nonverbal autistic

children have apraxia, so maybe this can help the speech aspect, and

that developmental pediatrician Dr. Agin is recommending her ADD/ADHD

and autistic/PDD patients to try the ProEFA as well. She got very

excited and said she wanted to try the ProEFA supplementation for her

son. I told her I wasn't sure if it worked for autistic children,

and told her that I had heard the DHA Jr. (cod liver oil with natural

vit. A), which is just Omega 3, was found successful for autism, even

though we had not found the pure Omega 3 to be that successful with

apraxia so far.

After speaking, and after her checking with her pediatrician who had

said, " Try it, it's harmless and if it works great. " Her son's

doctor also told her that research in this area has been going on for

5 years and that there are children that do improve with the

supplements. " She decided on wanting to try the ProEFA first. I

told her if it didn't work I would give her the DHA Jr. to try, but I

only wanted her to try one at a time for research reasons and to

think about it. When I told her that if she didn't want to try the

ProEFA right away, to see if she can get him to eat sardines, and see

if there are any changes. She told me " are you kidding, he hates

fish. I want that stuff now! Oh and my aunt wants a bottle too "

(This was before she even tried it)

That was three weeks ago. She told me today that in " 24 HOURS! he

was more calm " He next developed eye contact, which he has all the

time now, and he is " talking up a storm " She was at the school today

because he is being transferred to a PDD school because speech is no

longer the issue, and now they just want to teach him how to use all

the language he has developed. She said, " My husband says that he

doesn't know if it's the ProEFA, but he told me DON'T STOP giving to

him! " She then said to me, " I can't believe it either, but it's

amazing. I'm going to fill out the survey forms next week, but he

just keeps on improving so quickly " I just stood there with chills.

I asked her, " Is this documented by all the professionals that see

him too? " She told me yes, and will include this in her reports.

As it ends up, Lori Roth MA CCC/SLP who is collecting all the data

from our feedback research is a consultant to this school so will be

able to speak with the professionals from the school personally.

Oh, as if all of that wasn't enough. She told me her son loves the

ProEFA and she easily gives him the liquid of one capsule once a

day. I again told her she can also introduce sardines to his diet.

She laughed and said, " I told you, my son HATES fish! " (I didn't

remind her that ProEFA is fish oil, and little does her son know how

much he'll love fish when he's old enough to realize all that they

have done for him!)

Best,
