The on going disaster at Fukushima with the creation of a 12 mile exclusion zone around the reactors has given us even more reasons to close Indian Point. It is also important to look back at the exclusion zone surrounding Chernobyl. Reflect a moment on what an exclusion zone around Indian Point would look like and then pick up your phone and call an elected official and ask them what they are doing to close it down.

Thank you Debbie for this information. I hope a lot of people watch this and think of Indian Point.

Marilyn,

I am on the e-mail list for WNET-13. There is a program coming up that might be of interest to you and others.

"Nature: Radioactive Wolves" Wednesday, October 19 and Sunday, October 23, 8pm

"Twenty-five years after the nuclear disaster at Chernobyl, scientists study the lives of wolves and other wildlife, thriving in the human-free environment."

WNET suggests, WHY YOU SHOULD WATCH: Rare access to the Chernobyl "exclusion zone" -- witness what a post-apocalyptic world might look like.
