Guest guest
I can do that with new members. I don't want to do it with established members. It's a lot of work and my email is not reliable so things can go through anyway. I can only do my best. I dont think we get a lot of spam but the group is on moderation and I will slowly remove those I know from moderation as time allows. It's not like we have a lot of posts. This group used to be very active and for some reason it isn't any more. Any suggestions? In a message dated 9/14/2011 4:43:07 A.M. It really should be moderated so that every post needs approval before it is sent to the group. Re: Spam posts I ban them as soon as I see them . Unfortunately I've had problems with my computer so sometimes I lose the emails. I try my best and spammers don't get more than one or two chances and then it's off with their heads! I realize groups is a prime target for this mess, but this group has always been a good group. I hate to see it get mucked up w/ this filth. Guest guest
I just had to approve my own message and I'm the moderator. I then had to approve your message. I think that only new members should be moderated for a period of time and when I see that they are ok, I will unmoderate them. That is the best practical and fair choice. Also since I lose emails due to my computer situation, it would be unfortunate if the loyal members didn't get all their messages posted. Thanks, In a message dated 9/14/2011 5:29:36 P.M.
