Guest guest
While much of what you say is true and there's no getting around it, at least there is some reform which is a miracle in our corrupt society. People will not be able to be turned away for pre-existing conditions etc. It is a bit of progress..not much but something. I saw an interesting segment last night on the past presidents that wanted health care reform and was surprised to see that Reagan was a bit crusader in the movement but was unable to get to first base with it. All these politicians screaming against it...they have the best health care in the country. Apparently there are going to be multitudes of law suits now. Fun. In reality it is a major victory for insurance companies. The tragic aspect is that all the l;iberals are hailing it as Obama great reform. , it dooms the possibility of any real reform. As Nader pointed out 180,000 people will die for lack of insurance before the Bill even takes effect in 2014 SF In a message dated 3/21/2010 10:52:17 P.M.
