Guest guest
Both are used in treatment of fevers Tagament is a daily drug taken for a minimal of 6 months in hope to see a reduction in fevers .. Predisnone is taken at the start of a fever in hopes to break it and only taken at these times. BOth are seen to work depending the child. they can both be used for answers. however genetics is still your best mom to kiara 6 Re: tagament Hi Gretchen, Do you know what the differnce is between tagament and prednisone? Guest guest
Hi Cheri, What I know is tagamet is a Auto-immune regulator and prednisone helps with inflammation. Why one works and the other doesn't......I don't know. I'm sure Fran can answer that question in more detail. We tried tagamet out of desperation hoping would be well more days than sick. It did this however, he still gets sick every 22-23 day like clock work. What is weird is he fevers high every other month for the last 3 or 4 months. We are seeing a pattern here. He will go from 104 one month to 100.4 the other. This time right now he is 100.4 but, with these or without these high fevers he still feels the same......Bad!!!!! Will have more answers this week. Take care, Gretchen Cheri Payton <mycheribaby@...> wrote: Hi Gretchen, Do you know what the differnce is between tagament and prednisone? Why do some kids with take tagament and others prednisone? Guest guest
-Hi Gretchen, thanks for your reply. It is all so interesting and yet so mysterious! I wish I knew what 's pattern will be. He has only had 6 episodes...too early to tell. I feel blessed that we found out about so early in his illness. I wonder how moms hold a job with having a child who is sick so much??? Guest guest
Is taking tagament something recommended for melanoma? My friend's canine oncologist told her to give the dog tagament for her melanoma. ************** Recession-proof vacation ideas.
