I am using the GEIPE treatment thanks to recommendation by Duncan Crow.

I went to Radio Shack and purchased a rechargeable battery pack, some

wire leads AND some rechargable nickel-hydride batteries, which contain

NO mercury, and are therefore considered " environmentally friendly.

They cost me 15 dollars for 4 of them, but they can be recharged 400

times, and it's worth it not to have to wonder what to do with them

once they are no longer usable.

Next time you need batteries, try some nickel-hydrides.
