Also, at the store the other day, I saw that the General Mills is now

selling dyed " Cheerios " in plastic packages for parents to take with

them for their toddlers to snack on.

Dry cereal is supposed to be a major source of acrylamides, which are

suppsed to be seriously carcinogenic. I don't expect the dyes do the

children any good, either.

What would be left to buy in a grocery store if a group of naturopaths

walked through it and eliminated all the significantly unhealthful

foods from the shelves?

I went to the hardware store to buy tri-sodium phosphate for cleaning

paint and wallpaper prior to painting.

Home Depot did not have any powdered form and I was told that it was

pulled from the shelves because of the phosphates that get into the

water.

I looked up tsp on the internet and found out you can find it in

cheerios. Look at the box under ingredients.

The FDA has approved it for eating and the article says it is used in

most General Mills cereals including grape nuts.

It's ok to eat but not wash walls with.

Is anyone watching Wife Swap tonight? It is about a family that raises all

their own food and eats only raw and believes that germs, all germs are good.

Wonder what you thought of the program?

There is a program called " Wife Swap? "

Gee, I love it how people just take it in stride as the TV networks

destroy the fabric of this country.

Do you not realize, , that it's not going to matter WHAT you

eat once the moral fiber of this country has been trashed and flushed

down the sewer?

They're worried about GERMS when they're swapping wives???

Good grief!!!!

I was just reading the other day about how it is possible to take a

frog and place it in a shallow pan of cold water on the stove, then

turn the heat on, and the frog will just sit there or swim around,as

the water gets hotter and hotter, even though it could jump out at

any time, till finally it dies, boiled to death.

That is what is happening in this country---thousands or millions of

s, sitting, watching stuff like " Wife Swap " without

complaining, without thinking about its ramifications...and then one

day, , or 's children, are going to ask, " What has

happened to this country?! "

I am a member of both the American Family Association and the

Illinois Family Institute, and we DEFINITELY register strong

complaints about subversive, errosive/corrosive TV programs

like " Wife Swapping " and/or " Trading Spouses. "

You are overreacting. In the US serial polygamy is lawful. This is

just a variation for entertainment. It is a non-issue. We need more

swapping of everything -- cultures, languages, citizenships, jobs,

and maybe even friends and lovers. Too many people are just too uptight.

Oh yes, . " I am over-reacting. " LOL

So you think it's perfectly okay for one spouse from a couple to go

to another couple's home and visa versa, and live there and sleep

there " in the name of diversity and trading cultures. " You think

there's nothing wrong with it at all, that it's " just good

fun, " " good entertainment, " that it's perfectly safe and proper and

even a good thing, and that no possible harm can come from it.

" Just a variation for entertainment " is exactly what you are supposed

to think while the TV networks move further and further out from what

is good and normal and decent. I mentioned 's post to my wife,

and she said many folks would say just what you are saying, .

" Too uptight? " Not at all. It was " uptight " folks who built this

country, and it's " downloose " (opposite of " uptight " )folks who are

trying to tear it to smithereens.

" Serial polygamy " may be lawful, but it comes accompanied by dis-ease

and chaos.

You and I appear to be at opposite ends of the scale of what

constitutes normalcy, , and it appears to me that there are a

great many people like you, and a great many people like me. Either

there is going to be civil war in this country, or the " downloose "

folks are going to have their way, and what used to be a great

country will be flushed down the toilet.
