Guest guest
Dr. Wolski, It's a statistic based on a study...not, a claim. I googled it and here it is. http://www.nj.com/news/ledger/index.ssf?/base/news-11/117100462284040.xml & coll=1 --- Dr Wolski <privet012002@...> wrote: > Again, you can't make such a claim without some > scientific proof, otherwise all kinds of claims can > be > made out of all crazy opinions. > --- szukidavis@... wrote: > > > Just heard on TV that New Jersey has 1 in 93 > > children diagnosed as autistic. > > This is in my opinion from vaccinations. 1 in 93 > is > > an astounding number of > > children. > > > > > > [Non-text portions of this message have been > > removed] > > > > > > > > > ________________________________________________________________________________\ ____ > It's here! Guest guest
Dr. Wolski, It's my opinion that the astounding level of autism in this country is due to children being allowed to watch TV shows such as " Beavis & Butthead " and " The Simpsons. Guest guest
Thanks Duncan. I agree 100%. I put my son thru extensive colon, liver and blood detox programs, as well as the bentonite clay bath. I have also used the " Yeast Connection Handbook " extensively to try to control yeast overgrowth not only in my son, but my whole family. I've eliminated glutens in his diet for years. My autistic son, who, at times when he was much younger, I wanted to lock in a cage and feed thru the bars (but adamantly refused to have put in a residential home at age 6!), graduated in 2001 with 3 honors awards and 3 scholarships! That is proof positive of what you say here being true! I took my son out with me last Friday night for the reunion show of my friend's band. I also took several of my friends from my mental health advocacy job. At our next staff meeting, one of the newer girls was absolutely shocked to hear that is autistic. " He was so nice and such a perfect little gentleman " , she told me! Thank you for sharing this very important dietary information regarding autism. Do the whey and selenium come together in a supplement? If bought seperately, do you know what the dosing would be? You definitely have my attention on this! On the candidiasis group we make heavy use of low carbing and inulin, which feeds probiotics and thus controls bowel pathogens and their toxin production, and undenatured whey and selenium around 400 mcg ballpark, also a solid approach to clearing toxin load. These together usually very much improve autism and many diseases that are toxin-aggravated. I don't have to tell you how important it is to reduce toxin load (for everybody) and make all of the cells more robust, immune response and all that. Maybe I'm singing to the choir, but neither approach is very well known and both are very powerful and very underutilized, so I hope I've helped somewhat. This is also part of cancer therapy; undenatured whey and selenium alone have shrunk cancer as I've mentioned several times. Duncan Crow --------------------------------- We won't tell. Guest guest
I should have put a smiley face next to the comment, . I certainly was not serious about " Beavis and Butthead " and " The Simpsons " causing autism. I certainly do not think children need to see cartoon characters doing things like pushing a little old lady in a wheelchair down the stairs, though. And I do believe TV has had a terrible effect on children and on the populace in general.

Guest guest
, Good point. Truly, one cannot put " The Simpsons " and " Beavis and Butthead " in the same class. I only saw parts of one or two " Beavis and Butthead " cartoons, and never bothered to view such nasty garbage again. But I agree that Matt Gruening and his crowd are clever, and that " the Simpsons " program can be surprising at times with its insights. World Magazine, a Christian News Magazine, even did a not-disparaging article on " The Simpsons " a couple of years ago. I was surprised by that, though, because there certainly are things about " The Simpsons " that are to me and others unsavory and objectionable. One such thing that immediately comes to mind is the undermining of parental authority by the boy child, as when he condescendingly calls his father by his first name, as when he makes fun of him and as when he plays practical jokes on him. Then there's the consistent portrayal of the Christian minister as a blockhead/dolt. But still and all, one cannot reasonably put " The Simpsons " in the same class as " Beavis and Butthead.
