Guest guest
as stated..from my best research...which is a joke...the key is buying a product whose encapuslation method avoids gastric acid decimation of this extremely fragile resveratrol molecule...and to my best understanding...longevinex...is the only company that offers that feature so far. and yes, its quite expensive, so you can hope the other non micro encapsulated products, which aren't as expensive, make it to the blood stream whole...or else drink the red wine. none of resveratrols effects are proven yet, all of this is only conjecture, with questionable studies at best, imho, and many true authorities on anti aging, say resvertrol is not the magic bullet some are alleging it to be,but rather siri, or another rogue molecule futher down the chemical chain. i have taken the scatter gun approach for thirty years, and am in disgustingly perfect health, so something is working, i just don't know what. my lastest additon is stem enhance, which according to flaky in vitro trials, increases adult stem cell output in the bone marrow, and all i can say is that out of the plethora of vits and mins i take, this had had the most uplifting effect on overall general feeling of well being, than anything i have taken in years. okay...gotta go workout. one hour, wearing fifty pound weight vest, out in the cold. he, he. best to all renee, you are my hero. smles. .. Longevinex - Pure Encapsulations - Resveratrol? Longevinex appears to be quite expensive---several dollars a say if one is taking 3 capsules daily. Anyone know or can tell me the cheapest GOOD source of resveratrol? Or the cheapest source of longevinex or pure encapsulations resveratrol? Thanks for any help! Guest guest
One can get a lot of bioavailable resveratrol by consuming grape leaves (especiall of dark grapes). If you can't get fresh ones, get the dry, grind up or crumble with fingers and add to salads and other food. Both economical and beneficial. If you can't get them where you live, get in touch with a Vineyard. Gubi Longevinex - Pure Encapsulations - Resveratrol? Guest guest
Thank you Gubi. I do not know how to compare encapsulated form with raw grape leaves. It is my understanding that when one eats something raw and whole that one's digestive system often only absorbs a very small portion of the nutrition, even if everything in the body is functioning well. There are many people who say, " Oh, raw and natural is ALWAYS best, and is to be preferred over any extraction or encapsulation. " I do not agree with that. I think it's better to take some things in natural form and some in raw/natural form. It sounds like in this case, both the capsules and the leaves would be effective, though at least one product claims their capsules to have as much resveratrol as 50 or more glasses of red wine. > > Gubi > > Longevinex - Pure Encapsulations - Resveratrol? > > Longevinex appears to be quite expensive---several dollars a say if one > is taking 3 capsules daily. > > Anyone know or can tell me the cheapest GOOD source of resveratrol? > > Or the cheapest source of longevinex or pure encapsulations resveratrol? > > Thanks for any help! > >
Guest guest
I recently added Resvertrol by Life Extension to my daily supplement intake. I get them at the Vitamin Shoppe, which recently started carrying a small variety of Life Extension products. The Longevinex however, appears to contain more Reseratrol~100mg compared to 20 mg in the Life Extension brand. --- breathedeepnow <aug20@...> wrote: > Longevinex appears to be quite expensive---several > dollars a say if one > is taking 3 capsules daily. > > Anyone know or can tell me the cheapest GOOD source > of resveratrol? > > Or the cheapest source of longevinex or pure > encapsulations resveratrol? > > Thanks for any help! > > ________________________________________________________________________________\ ____ Be a PS3 game guru. I used to get all my vitamins from the Vitamin Shoppe and then started worrying about the quality so I don't anymore.

Guest guest
WHY did you start worrying about quality? To best of my knowledge, Puritan's Pride, Vitamin Shoppe and Swanson Vitamins all sell good quality vitamins. I am not at all sure they can risk selling poor-quality vitamins, because if such a thing was ever proven, they would be in BIG trouble. > > In a message dated 2/10/07 2:56:50 PM Eastern Standard Time, > lisanwilliam@... writes: > > > > If you > > shop at the Vitamin Shoppe, it's a good idea to sign > > up for a free membership card. > > I used to get all my vitamins from the Vitamin Shoppe and then started > worrying about the quality so I don't anymore. > > >
Guest guest
I agree that there are differences between brands. For instance I take Melatonin at night. I usually get it from Dr. Block in Chicago, but I ran out and ended up picking up a bottle of the Vitamin Shoppe brand. For me, it was not effective. That said, I think the quality is related to the brand you purchase not the store itself. > > I used to get all my vitamins from the Vitamin > Shoppe and then started > worrying about the quality so I don't anymore. > > > [Non-text portions of this message have been > removed] > > ________________________________________________________________________________\ ____ Music Unlimited Access over 1 million songs. http://music./unlimited
