What was it like when you were told the diagnosis of your child with Down Syndrome?

Hi Everybody,

We are in the process of writing a book about Down Syndrome. Its going to be called "Down Syndrome: What You CAN Do." I may be asking everynow and then for your stories to include in the book. For right now, I'm working on the first section of the book which is about the diagnosis (whether prenatally or postnatally) or the new arrival of your child with Down Syndrome (like if it's through adoption or something like that). So, I'm looking for parent's stories of the news of their new arrival with DS. I'm also looking for sibling stories in regards to the news of their new sibling with DS. If any of you wouldn't mind sending me your stories, that'd be great! If there are any pictures to include with it, that'd would be perfect as well!! I'd like to include pictures of different children ( & adults) with Down Syndrome in the book as well.
