Guest guest
Welcome, Bobby. I’m De a/k/a , but now we have another so I have to be more careful to shorten mine. In case that’s not confusing enough, we also have Dannella who often signs “d”. We also have Jon, and the 2nd Liz who are PTP. So you are in excellent company. I’m a single mom to teens, 48, in GA & did treatment last year and am undetectable 6 months post. So jump on in, the water’s fine. Please don’t be a lurker! We all have our foggy times so there won’t be a test on who’s who. De Welcome to our New Member Hello Bobby & welcome. This bunch of " Dummies " is like one big family, a little crazy but nice. Without them there'd be doctors' bodies trailing behind me for miles & miles, they've saved my sanity more times than I can count too. If you've got questions, someone here will either have the answer or know where to find it. Remember - there's no such thing as a stupid question. We have quite a few post transplant members, one of our fearless leaders, Deb, is 4 years post transplant. She's not around very much lately, she lived in New Orleans & lost just about everything plus the stress has not been good for her liver. Our Jiffy liver gal - Kathy-Boo - got her new liver at the drive thru. In & out of the hospital in nothing flat. Sorry guys, my mind is in a fog bank, who are our other PTPs - I know there are more but I can't remember who you are. Please introduce yourselves to Bobby, our newest PTP. I'm SuZie(spelt with a capital Z since Susie joined us) I'm single, 55 years old & was dx'd HCV+ in the early '90s. I think I've had it since the late " 60s early 70s during my self medicating days. I've been on tx(treatment) twice but didn't respond either time. I'm waiting the results of a bx(biopsy) before trying again. I live in the GWN (great white north) - Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada with my sweet little boy SpYke - he's mostly Himalayan & not really all that sweet, a mass of fur with a superiority complex. You can find bios of most of us at the group home page. I have one question for you. Your name is Bobby? Then are you male or female? I've got an aunt named Bobby but I also have an ex named Bobby, gets confusing. Once again, welcome, SuZie

I enjoy following the listserv because it provides information from the family standpoint that we really don't get from Continuing Education and from books. I pass on relevant information to my local collegues. Thanks for letting me learn from this forum. Ahhh...imagining that irresistible "new car" smell? Check out new cars at Autos.
