Either way you go it's not fun. CarolTrishasmomShe isn't typical, She's Trisha!TEALSee what's free at AOL.com.
Guest guest
I've done that myself and it does hurt! Kathy Re: Young ladiies and menstruation <<The presenter also said we should start letting out little girls wear pads or panty liners early so they get used to the feel.>> Just a cautionary tale (sorry guys on the list) be very very careful to never allow the pad to fold over at one end and inadvertantly catch some hair (when they have some) on the sticky part of the pad or you may be nursing a fractured nose for some time to come and your daughter may never ever trust THE PAD again. Guest guest
Now why did I think this would possibly be easy??? LOL Oh my gosh, who knew these things could go wrong. Losing a pad would be nothing short of horrifying.... bikers shorts during that time?? Don't they made the old belt type anymore? That would prevent the hair issue and geez, you are are so right about that Sherry!!! OUCH.... Would be ok if no one panicked and gave you time to grab the scissors, but somehow calm never seems to rule at such times. tampon anyone???? Guest guest
I just got home and I am catching up on emails. I recall that someone mentioned that they put a small "P" on their daughter's writing hand and that helps her remember what to do. She also told the teacher "just in case" Funny that they said to practice before it all happens. My daughter, who will be 5 in May, was watching me take care of business. The whole entire time she was saying "ewww gross, mommy big girl no baby!" I laughed so hard. I tried to explain it and see if she wanted one in her panties and she said, "no I big girl!" I was dying to share this with someone so glad it came up! MarcySee what's free at AOL.com.
