Guest guest
Hi all, I previously wrote last week about paying for feeding issues. My son who is 5 got mono at the beginning of May. Well one of those issues was one of the therapists was pregnant. Apparently the school nurse after the pregnant one asked her what she should do cancelled all the therapists that came to the house and guess what didn’t tell us the parents. Is this something I should mention?? I am really irate about this. He needs his therapy. I already have enough issues without this on my plate. My husband called and spoke to the supervisor last Monday and they said that if the pregtnant one cant come out then they can’t replace her so he won’t get anyone to replace her. So they finally said the pregnant therapist had to ask her ob what the deal was. So we didn’t hear back from them all week and finally yesterday find out that we need a note for my son who got mono. Mind you he has been back to school for at least 2 weeks now. And I need a note which was already sent to the school too. I am just so mad about this whole issue. I know it is free services etc but I am still entitled to it. Mono is only contracted through saliva and mucus and if you are careful and wash your hands That’s why they call it the kissing disease. Anyway does anyone have any advice? IF It was up to me I would cancel all his therapy but this is for him not me so I won’t do that. Also about the feeding therapist and trying to get her to write medical instead of behavioral she won’t do it. She said she is a therapist and not a dr and therefore can’t write that so we are stuck paying 25% of the whole bill and that’s a chunk of money. Anyway thanks for listening!
