I didn't read any of my e-mail after 8 a.m. on the 8th so we may have missed some opportunities to spend some time with some of you on the trip. I know we passed close by a lot of your hometowns/regions. The trip was great. We spent all day Friday at Disneyland and the boys had a blast, as did Dad. Saturday we went to the ocean, San Capistrano, San Clemente and Carlsbad. Sunday we went to London Bridge, the Roy Museum, and drove through the Mojave (104 degrees). Monday we did all the sites in northern Arizona, from the Grand Canyon to a deer farm and more. Tuesday we drove through New Mexico and Wednesday night we ended up in Abilene, Kansas, a town fall of tourist attractions. To get home on time, we avoided a lot of stops in New Mexico and Colorado. Having a 12 year-old is great. Any way his first week to ten days have gone well. He matured a lot on the trip and was a great help with . We are glad to be home.
