Integrated Care Program Update

November 16, 2011

The two finalized ICP contracts with Aetna Better Health and IlliniCare Health

Plan were signed

April 28, 2011 and are available online at

http://www.hfs.illinois.gov/managedcare/

Enrollment Data

? The department began mailing enrollment packets during March 2011, and the

first

enrollees to receive health care benefits through the program began May 1, 2011.

? As of November 16, 2011:

o 36,979 individuals are enrolled in ICP. The begin date of coverage for these

enrollees

varies, depending on the date the members enrolled (some will begin coverage

December 1, 2011 or January 1, 2012).

Of these 36,979 individuals:

? 18,457 (50%) will be Aetna Better Health members

? 18,522 (50%) will be IlliniCare Health Plan members.

These enrollees reside in suburban Cook, DuPage, Kane, Will, Kankakee and Lake

Counties.

? All enrollees the Department originally identified as eligible for ICP have

received ICP

enrollment material, including residents living in Long Term Care facilities and

State-

Operated Developmental Centers (SODCs).

? As new individuals become eligible for the program, new enrollment packets are

sent

out.

ICP Stakeholder Videoconference Will be Held on December 8, 2011

The next Integrated Care Program (ICP) stakeholder videoconference will be held

on December 8, 2011, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. The department will give an update on

the program, provide follow-up on concerns raised at the October meeting, and

take questions from meeting participants. An update on the ICP is attached, or

You may attend the videoconference in person at one of two locations, or by

teleconference. The meeting locations are: 401 S. Clinton, 7th Floor in Chicago,
